    Central Illinois Camaros

    Two years ago I started a Central Illinois Camaro thread on the C5 forum which some of you are aware of. There are several of us that post local stuff on that thread but we've never been very organized. Recently, we decided to take it a little further to make it easier to share information and possibly have some scheduled times of getting together.

    We decided to start with a Facebook group titled "Central Illinois Camaros". We wanted to open it up to all generations of Camaros in hopes of getting more people involved and some of the people in our group had friends with earlier gens. You don't have to live in Central Illinois to join, just like I don't live in Chicago but belong to C5G.     My hope and plan is to get some of the people from the CIC group to attend some C5G events as well. Since I'm Facebook friends with some of you I wanted to make you all aware of this before you saw the group I created and got the wrong idea. I'm a C5G'er for life!

      Yeah, I know, but the other guys didn't want to do that. I see pros and cons either way. We'll see how it goes for now and may change it later. Thanks for the suggestion Tony.

                Well, time to get with the program. There are plenty if people on FB under a fake name. Maybe that's an option.

                      People on Facebook with a fake name, well, I never heard of such a thing ! That would be like people on C5G with a fake name, unthinkable !
