We also have an IOM with matte black stripes and we love it. Even though Dave said there won't be that many. Steve is right, there were a lot of IOM's at C5F but everyone was different. I wanted the black with the orange stripes and the few that I have seen, I still love. We got ours at Phillips. We talked to Jaime Birks. She was great at making sure everything we wanted got done(no stickers, stripes were on right, etc.) when our car first arrived at phillips there were no stripes on it. The stripe guy only came in on Tues, and Sat. so it sat out front until Sat. like it was for sale. We also went on their web page and they had ours on there even after we picked it up. The VIN matched, that's how we knew it was ours. We put in the heritage grill not painted, because it matches the stripes and the car looks great. There might be some pics of it in my garage on the camaro5 website or if you find some of the clinton outing there are a few.

well, I think I have made an executive decision... If I do order my Camaro (there is an outside chance of picking up a G8 GT instead) it will be RJT... I may wait and get SIM stripes a little later, but it will be RJT

Yeah just about time, though I was really hoping to see the updated pricing before putting my order in. That, and the wife is insisting I investigate the G8 just a bit more, though it likely wouldn't be the GT, as I don't think I could justify WORSE gas mileage/cost than my GP GTP. Cross your fingers for me!

If your looking at the V6 versions of both cars and don't need a sedan, the Camaro is a much better car. You get a lighter, more powerful car that gets better gas mileage. Plus there is no contest in the looks dept.

Yeah, I hear ya. We don't NEED a sedan, I could use my Suburban if need extra people room, or squish a little in the wife's Monte SS. I hadn't thoght about the G8 being heavier, but yeah it is. I do love the looks of the Camaro, but I also love the G8, too... it's the wife who doesn't care much for the Camaro. I tried doing the MPG battle a bit, but since the G8 V6 is going to get me about what I get in my GP GTP, that didn't have quite the desired effect, LOL. I still need to find a local G8 V6 to test drive though. I'm afraid it will be a pig, compared to my slightly modded GTP and and/or the Camaro.
