Advantage Chevy Bolingbrook = FAIL

So I had filled out an online request for a quote on a Camaro, and the site chose Advantage as default dealer since it's the closest. So the internet manager emailed me, and I replied with what I was looking for in my Camaro. He mailed me back with details on a 2LT/RS A6 w/ roof for under 29K+TTL I thought to myself that that was an awesome deal, even hough I can't have a sunroof (height issues) Since I had been emailing with CamaroScotty, I sent him an email and asked him if he could match/beat the deal. I also sent him the VIN. Turns out the car that Advantage is selling was an event car, and had an in-service date at the beginning of February... so the car should be sold as USED.... needless to say, I won't be buying ANYTHING from Advantage Chevrolet in Bolingbrook!

I bought a car from them(not my camaro) and had a terrible experience. Got a quote on the car, and ended up it was at their other location, had to drive there with the sales guy to see it. Could have went straight to the other location instead of wasting an hour driving back and forth. I did get a great deal, so I sucked it up. I would never go back there.

Thats a technical issue, if the car hasnt been retitled its technically still new under Illinois Law. of course they have to disclose the mileage. Same goes for a manager at a dealershiip driving one for two three months, its still new just used by the dealership for awhile. You can get those usually for a pretty good price. They have to knock some serious cash off of it for anyone to buy it.

The deal wouldnt have been so bad... but they didn't specify the mileage. but i would have seen the mileage before buying i guess

Man thats just wrong, but that would give you more leverage I would think. If you want my sales person's name from Phillips Chevy I will give it to you! They sell under MSRP all the time! Largest Volume dealer in IL. They have been very nice to me and if your a sox fan friend them on FB as they give tickets away every day, who know negotiate a set of tickets with the deal!
