I think it's the short video makes it look like they are rushing through the build. There are a lot of steps not shown. If the piece was done like the one they did on the Camaro which I believe was an hour long documentary, it would look much different. I wouldn't be surprised to see a longer documentary on the C7, like the Camaro. I still amazes me to watch these things with all the automation used to build our cars. I have always wanted to make a trip to the Bowling Green factory for a tour. 2014 roadtrip, perhaps!
