    When will the salt first tarnish the roads?

    So... Here's a poll for you.

      I grew up in the area (Northwest Indiana), but lived in Kansas City for a recent 4.5 years - before that, north central Indiana (Purdue). I'm still getting used to how things are done around here and what is "average", I have long forgotten.

      I don't know what the "average" first salt date is myself. In Kansas City, I was pretty accustomed to this being about the 15th of December. The "last salt" date would be around the 15th of February.

      I still would like to drive the car a couple more times!

              It snowed on my car yesterday, but didn't see salt trucks. Got to go shopping for a DD.

                Well I guess this is one positive thing about my car. She's been on jsckstands for the past 4 months waiting for winter lol
