Custom Injection Molding

A friend of mine needs some plastic parts for a one-off request via injection molding. Does anyone here know of or recommend a place which does such service? I know I've seen a few car parts which were done via injection molding.

I found some places on Google, but I'm interested in any recommendations.

Even a cheap mold is thousands of dollars. May be better ways to do it. More info?

Check out 3-D printing. If the part is CAD-designed, it can be prototyped.

Generally, the material is translucent ABS type plastic.

I have a brother in law who is a plastic I injection mold engineer for 20 plus years and does all that cad stuff. I also have a father who is a tool and die maker that has over 50 years experience in prototype work p.M. Me what your thinking about in confidence of course if you like.
