I've had shock covers for my hood and trunk lid laying around for awhile so thought I would put them on. Can someone tell me how to remove the shocks to slide the covers on? I've been looking at it long enough with no ideas and don't want to screw something up. Appreciate any help.

Okay, I'm baaaaaack!
The trunk shock covers went on, no problem. The hood shock cover will not fit over either end of the shock assembly. Does either end come off, somehow?sigpic
