Looking for your input.

Ok so I posted earlier this week, that I placed 2nd in the Operation Support our Troops car show. With this, I get invited with the other 29 trophy winners to the Rockin for the Troops concert at Cantigny. The 30 cars will compete against each other for the Midas Trophy which would be cool to win. The winner will be decided by fan voting at the concert. ( I don't have all the details yet).

So I was thinking that one advantage I have is that my car can still be modified a bit more, geared towards this event. The theme for the day at Cantigny is "Only in America".

I am considering having my door panels and the panel on the dash wrapped.
Sort of like this photo below.



I'm considering POW-MIA logos on the door panels black&white. With the quote, "All gave some - Some gave all" on the dash panel. This would tie in with my car because of the black wrapping.

Or Wrapping both in stars and stripes with the same or another quote.

So should I do either, or just bring my car the way it is now? Or do you have any other ideas? I'm not looking to spend a lot, just thought I would bring something relevant to the show, that might get me some extra votes. Also I don't want to offend anyone, maybe vets could way in.

I like the idea. I think having something like that would be an eye turner. However the POW-MIA is a little before my time and don't have such a impact to the new breed of soliders. Also, you open yourself to alot of questions from vets that you can't answer if you never enlisted. So depending on the age of voters and your contact with them during show.. Would sway that idea.
The Stars and Stripes if done right would be awesome and would make a statement..No issues there. USA PRIDE

Thanks that's the kind of input I was looking for and something I hadn't considered. Actually something I forgot to mention, is with the Stars and Stripes Idea, I would put some text regarding Bless our Troops, or Support our Troops.

FWIW, any sign shop could print up vinyl for wrapping the panels.

I called some local places and was told no.. They wanted panels off before they would commit. I've never took them off so just worried.

POW-MIA is cool but there isn't much to it as far as artwork. I know it isn't for that purpose but I think the Stars and Stripes would be more of an eye catcher.
