Possibly an impromptu cruise or show for him would be good also, the Facebook page is ran on donations so maybe we could make donations to help
We as a C5G club will investigate the donations/fundraiser, etc. As for a visit, we need to check on that, maybe greennv might have a better handle on that since he is a neighbor and was going to stop by. My first inclination is to respect their wishes on the visits, even though it comes from a good place.

I meant to collect donations at the cruise/show to help keep Larry's page going, one less thing for Christy to worry about. If the club decides they can do something, I will gladly help with anything.

I really don't know what to say. One of the best c5gers I know. And one of the originals who has been with us from the beginning. Is there anything we could do? I wish we could visit.

I am so shocked & saddened. I was brought to tears by Larry's story, wow I had no idea. I'm just stunned & heartbroken for Larry & his family. All of my thoughts & prayers are with him & his family.

          Speechless....

I am just so stunned. His son comes over by me to play with my son and other kids on our block. I wanted to stop by his house when I got back from Morris tonight but thought better of it . Larry was the first person I met when I joined the club . He just picked up his car from Pete's and drove to a portillos lunch meet to show us his car. We would stop by each others house from time to time to show each other new mods we had done. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I will find a way to get over there to see him . I will keep everyone informed . Everyone takes things for granted in their everyday lives but when you hear about something like this nothing else seems to matter. I don't care who you are or what kind of life you have. When a great kid like his son Riley has to go through this along with the rest of his family nothing can compare.

As someone who has lost both parents to cancer, my Father's started very similarly with the Ocular Cancer, I am at a loss for words here. Larry is one hell of a guy and I remember that day at Portillo's, Gary. He was so proud of his car that day that he was beaming.

Please, please, please, Mark or Gary, let Larry's family know that if they need ANYTHING, ANYTHING AT ALL, do not hesitate to let me know. I KNOW how difficult this time can be and if I can assist with even the smallest thing, I will, to help them through this.

              T.

              GO HAWKS!!!!!!
The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear about this. I, too, thought you were in the clear buddy. Prayers for you and the whole family. I know it's rough. Really rough. And though I'm not very good with words during times like this, know that I am wishing you the best and will do anything I can to help if needed.

Larry was one of the first club members to welcome me into the club. He is such a nice guy. I can't believe this. Hang in there Larry!

Camaro family I have sad news to pass Larry has passed last night a little after 9PM. Christy has requested that we as a club do a cruise and set up as many Camaros we can for his day.....
Details I have are 1030 at the cathedral. Bill (Lawdog) will be picking up Larry's Camaro to get it cleaned up washed and waxed for his day. She would like to have a Camaro sendoff after the service is complete at 1200 she would like all of us in Camaro's to send him off as loud as we can reeving them as loud as we can get them and let him know we want him to hear us down here....She would then like to have a cruise back to her house for a last cruise in Larry's honor. We should do this and have lots of participation as we can please.....Larry was a wonderful man and supported the club from the beginning, his passion was his Camaro and the club with his family.

I will post up the location as soon as I have it.

Please make this day special for Christy and Ryley his son.....

Board Members please have an event coordinator start getting details or point me to one that will be ready to receive and post event details..

She is with her mother and father tonight and may send me the details tonight or in the morning....Text me at 630-363-5788 and I will share any info I have at the time or post here.....
