This is the pond behind my house, at 7;30. I'm at work now, hoping it didn't rise further.

              Sorry to see this.

I went home for lunch to make sure at least one of my 3 sump pumps were running. So far so good. This weather is crazy! They are saying 3-7 inches of rain when it's all said and done.

I got a little bit of water but nothing a few towels in the corner can't handle. My neighbor has been pumping water out of his basement all day so on this occasion I was lucky. It better stop raining though or I'll have to bust out my snorkel and fins!

It sucks that happened to you all.

Sorry to see all of this. We've been lucky so far. No water. Both sump pumps going off every 2 minutes. Next door neighbor has a couple feet in their basement. Next week doesn't look much better for the weather.

                        Sucks to see this happen.

This is one of those rare days I'm happy to be in a 3rd floor condo.

Happy to have no basement to contend with when I see this stuff, but my office is in the lower level at building and you bet I was there last nite at 2:00 am when I got the call from the alarm company POWER FAILURE !
turned out okay, I got lucky with all the upgrades we did two years ago on the backup.
number one thing on my mind this week| BUY A GENERATOR and EXTRA PUMP and leave it on the shelve!

Just got home and checked my sump pumps again. One is out, one still working and running every 15 seconds. My 3rd pump is last resort and only runs if the first two fail. Keeping my fingers crossed.
