  • Good photoshoot locations?

What are some good places to do some good car photoshoots? I'm in the northwest burbs, would prefer to stay local but will drive a reasonable distance too.

Thanks! Cool meeting a few people last Sunday- unfortunately I wasn't able to stay too long. Still need to upload the photos I took.

      - Anywhere in downtown Woodstock. They also have a cool bridge (train viaduct sp?) about two blocks southeast of downtown.
      - Batavia on Route 25 North of Fabian Parkway on the west side of the road. They have a nice windmill. Also in Batavia, their police station is a cool building to use as a backdrop. It was a very old factory built with sandstone rocks. Really nice.
      - Round Lake on Town Line Road. Park Campus School has a unique building that is often used as a backdrop.
      - Main St. in Carpentersville has some nice old buildings.
      - The original McDonalds in DesPlaines.
      - Any Hooters Restaurant / especially the one in rockford
      - Any Portillo's when they are not busy.
      - Pick a wall, any wall.
      - It's carnival season, watch for positions that would allow the rides and boothes to show in the background.
      - On top or in a parking garage with a nice skyline.
      - Downtown Wheaton.
      - Downtown Elgin

      Where is local for you?

Algonquin Sonic on Randall Rd. On the south side of Sonic, there is a parking area that has an embankment on the east side. Makes for a clean background (grass in the summer).

Lake in The Hills Costco lot, north side, towards Randall. It's up on a hill, so, you can get a nice background of trees and sky looking north.
