This is just a friendly heads up to my fellow Camaro drivers, and this word comes from a friend of mine named Smokey the Bear, so please pay attention.
Scott's Law or the "move over" law is going to be more heavily enforced than ever before.
Move over Law
This may not seem like much to deal with at first when you approach but if you consider how fast many people drive on the expressways (which is where most are getting these tickets), how hard it can be to quickly change lanes safely in a short amount of time, and how much speed you will have to reduce to prevent yourself from getting this ticket you can understand it is pretty easy to make a mistake on this law.
The police are watching everybody on this and they are not giving any room for error and if you thought officers were enforcing this strictly in the past they are going to double their efforts now. Too many people, LEO's and civilians, are still being hit on the side of the roads by drivers not yielding to them in traffic.
Please don't get the wrong idea about this thread! I'm not saying anything about the laws or what police are doing to enforce them, I just wanted to pass along a heads up and make sure you all are aware in your travels.
