    Bad News today my company let 11 people go

    Bad news does travel fast so I thought I would get this out to my extended family. I was let go today with 10 others. The sad part is I just closed another deal in WI today. With nearly 10 years experience I didn't see this coming. 18 Years of Honorable and Faithful service to our United States Marine Corps, 14 active duty and 4 in the reserves.

    I was the Account Executive for the Sales and Delivery of Professional Services in the Systems Integration Unit of my company. If anyone has any job leads please pass them on to me.

    Sad day for me today, but also a new Chapter in my life. I always look forward and never look back and have no regrets. God has a plan and no matter what don't try to figure it out or change it, only he can guide you.

      Yep sure do I will start my search on Tuesday. Just still in shock of the whole thing.

        Sorry to hear this Steve I know this will affect your life in a way I can't imagine but to a lesser extent how does this affects your plans for the car?

            Plans stay the same right now, I am still going to C5Fest! It will be my vacation, so we will see. I see more time available to do stuff now with it! Any way I am going forward maybe not as fast as I wanted, but I will still get it done!

              I'm very sorry to hear this....I've been through it once or twice myself. You've got the right attitude about it, I'll tell ya that!

                      Thats hard to take, good attitude though, Thats why I went into business for myself a long time ago, I know its hard when your doing a good job for someone and they let you go. But then again, when your in business for yourself, you have to worry about where your going to get that business week to week. Life is stressful either way. Spend some time analyzing your budget and figure where you can really trim things so you can get through this. You will probably come out ahead in the long run, alot of times you find something better, Good luck my friend.
