  • This year's SEMA build

Just wanted to share a recent SEMA build we were a part of. Rick Bottom Designs built the car and couldn't do without our products.

One major component of ours that is featured on the car is our new heat extractor hood. It was the first hood built and debuted at the SEMA show. The vents were finished to match the rest of the billet grilles on the car.

Another key item is our recently released Sequential LED mirrors. These are a little different than our traditional LED mirrors as they sequence when they blink rather than just flash on and off.

Going to the engine compartment you will find our newly released "underground" series dress up kit. We did something a little different and went with a black wrinkle finish with some brushed accents to bring in the brushed texture of the wheels.

And last but certainly not least is the ever so favorite LED side markers. They just speak for themselves. LOL.

I saw the hood in person thanks to the guy with the SGM Camaro. Stopped by Pete's on Friday to check it out and it is a work of art. I've been looking at options for heat extraction because of engine temps on the track. Looks like I'm first in line for the next batch. Can't wait.

Sorry for being honest and hurting your feelings. Let me take that back. I meant to say that's the best camaro ever.

Everyone will have their own opinions on the car. There are aspects of the car that I absolutely love, and aspects that I hate. But it wasn't my car to build. Obviously if each of us were building our own Camaro we would add mods that we love, and I assume that's what Rick did. Regardless if you like all aspects or not, you should still be able to appreciate the man hours that went into this build.

Agreed Jason, I feel the same. The hood is cool, can't go wrong with the vortech and that interior looks spectacular. I am sure it's a high quality build. Some people will love the aspects that I don't, and may not like the parts that I do. But I'm pretty sure we are allowed to have an opinion around here. The hard part about customizing this car is stock looks amazing.

It doesn't have enough LEDs to qualify for that sticker!! Get your ass back to work Dan.

I'm glad you liked it - The hood really is amazing. I have a simple V6, so heat extraction isn't a priority for me, but it'll be perfect for you for the track, and when you're not on the track it's gonna look bad ass.

Far as Rick's Camaro is concerned, I love just about everything with it. I'm not a huge fan of the headlight covers, but they work pretty well with this car. The interior is just ridiculous (in a good way). All around great job Rick!
