  • Turbo-4 for WHO? Turbo 6, was exciting...

This talk of a turbo-4 Camaro would be exactly for WHO? Isn't that what the Cobalt is for? Now the turbo 6 with the Jay Leno Camaro and the Cadillac lines testing a turbo-6 is exciting...

Update: The 2014 Cadillac CTS has been revealed. Click here for all the details, photos and video. Even through bankruptcy, bailouts, and a bad economy, the Cadillac CTS range has continued to buoy the brand's reputation and rank amongst luxury competitors. I'm pretty sure that a turbo four would be the base setup...

I wouldn't be surprised if it is true with the new alpha platform. I think it would be pointless in our 2 ton boat, but very possible with the lighter platform.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

I assume the 2016 Cafe Standards has a lot to do with this. Got to sell a lot of the 4 Turbo's so we can have our V8's. It will be interesting to watch how it all unfolds.

Im not against turbo 4's at all. Would I buy one? No but I am a V8 kinda guy. I think a turbo 4 could bring more of the tuners (no not ricers) into the Camaro world. More sales, bigger aftermarket selection, cheaper aftermarket prices?

            Interesting on the tuners bit...

I would not be opposed, but on the flipside, I really don't see it belonging in a Camaro -- seems like a turbo-4 is for a DIFFERENT kind of car (Cobalt or whatever)...

The news that IS missing, is -- what about the turbo-6 that has already been teased in the Leno Camaro and with the Caddy line. It's almost got to be coming to the Camaro too...

I agree that it doesn't seem to belong in a camaro. However, with the new standards that are coming up with fuel economy, if that is what it takes to keep the camaro in production. Bring it on!

Give me a turbo 6 Camaro ANY DAY. I'll gladly trade my SS.

They once said "what's a turbo six doing in a Buick Regal?" And that was 25 years ago with old-school 80's technology.
