Forgot to tell you guys that we got Matt Farah from the Smoking tire locked in to show up and race.

Can we give the show crowd bashing a break please? I know you're not being completely serious, but we've been down this road before, and nobody likes where it leads. We all like to have fun here, for sure, but I think we all know that not everybody can read the intent and spirit of some of what gets said when this stuff comes up.

That being said, I would suspect that if a group of people show up together, they may end up parking in roughly the same area. (spectating) so if a group wants to hang out, thats about how it would hapen.

It's hard to give a break when it's brought up in every performance thread. Priz had a great idea. The next time you guys are at a show maybe they can set up some cones for some 330' passes. The people involved in this event have worked and continue to work very hard to make this one of the best performance oriented events ever in the Midwest. I can guarantee you the racing spots will fill up long before the date of the event. If you have an affinity for detail spray and setting up action figures under your hood then this event is not for you, period.

My whole comment before was to arrange some orgazination if members from the club went. My example of show and go was not stating to hold a show, just an example of how many members showed up. There are only a couple members on here that would attempt the racing. So I originally asked if C5G had enough attendees if we could arrange for them to park together. There is nothing wrong with that and no need to bash. I for one am not a show guy at all. I barely wash my car and I have dents and dings all over it. But I am also a member of this club that YOU help setup in the beginning, so I would hope you have the respect to understand why a simple inquire about parking could be arranged.

Its an event where both spectators and racers may attend. My idea was for those spectators and more of a suggestion for the coordinators if we had enough members interested in going. Me personally I will be on the strip pushing my car to a new limit. It was for those interested in going to watch. What the club does while there is up to them. Once again no need for the harsh and rude comments as it was a suggestion for our camaro club.

Figures this would come about when I most likely won't have this car or have it in a configuration worthy of this event...

My wheels are going away this week.. Followed up by postings on here of a couple thing in the coming weeks.

I'm not going to sink ~200.00 in to a race when I might not even have a car.. Ah, the timing.. This would have been great this summer or early this winter.. Oh well.. Hopefully there will be another date or I can get future car confirmation before sell out.

(Job issue was sorted out by me resigning and picking up a Sr. Network Engineer gig elsewhere that sucks so much less). Also got a nice little vacation payout and dual paychecks, so I'm going through and paying stuff down.
