Ill post some pics too, this is all part of an event that thechicagogarage.com will be hosting at this airport in the spring. On another note, a cammed bolt-on camaro SS will do low 140s in a half mile. I made at least 10 passes and that mph was consistent. The lack of aerodynamics can really be felt and seen at that speed especially against a vette. It was a blast though!!!

would it be possible to have a reserved parking section for C5G if we have enough members make it out?

I would think if you registered and showed up together you'd be able to get parking close to one another. There's a lot of parking as well as space in between each of the hangers.

I believe that unless you are racing, you'll be parking in the grass. The concrete parking will be for the cars that are particapating. This is not a car show.

Haha this is an event I'm looking into. Might not change my rear gearing until I race here. Plus I need to figure out how to stop haha. My predictions are that I should be able to hit about 160mph in the 1/2 mile... stopping the beast is gonna be a challenge.
