SEMA 2012: Final 2012 COPO Camaro Is An Orange Convertible | GM Authority
Chevrolet promised 69 COPO Camaro dragsters in 2012, and so far, 67 of them have a fixed, closed canopy. But the final two COPO Camaro race cars of 2012 are quite different. Not only are they uniquely painted Inferno Orange Metallic, but they’re also — strikingly — convertibles. And are totally NHRA-legal, so long as the top is up when racing. And while COPO Camaro number 68 isn’t planned for public sale, it’s equally orange topless twin will cross the block during the 2013 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, in January, to benefit the American Heart Association.
