I'm sorry, but I do not feel sorry for the owner. The system was not installed correctly or this would not have occured.
( unless he was not aware of the system not installed correctly )
There is normally a sensor on the e-brake and sequence to follow once the car is parked for the system to operate. This is a very poor decision not to have the safety switches installed.
