  • What is your favorite NASCAR track?

Instead of stealing someone else's thread. I thought this might make a nice discussion topic.

My favorite track is Bristol, followed by INDY, then Joliet just because it is close.
The drive to Bristol is a pleasure, especially through the Cumberland Pass. The track has it together, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Hotels are hard to get though.

Charlotte, and the old Rock. My old "home" tracks hold a place in my heart.
Racing is my life, everything else is just minor details.

We've not been to Bristol, Charlotte is ok, Dave's been to Phoenix and we've been to Michigan and Chicagoland a lot. Not a lot of action at Michigan and Chicagoland, don't like Indy because you can't see the whole track. I love Talledega!

BRISTOL BABY!!!! I'm a season ticket holder there. Bristol is where my Dad lived so I had free room and board when there. That ends this year, but I have many relatives in the area that I can stay with. That area is my second home and love going there. Awesome roads for motorcycling and any good sports car.

INDY would be second because it's the racing capital of the world and a lot of history there. I do hate that you can't see the whole track, but if you're in the right section you can see half. I also spent my childhood in Indiana (New Castle).

Bristol is #1. Love short tracks, but not to short, like Milwaukee. Next, has to be Daytona. Amazed at the angle in the turns.
