      11.6 for a gt500?

Uh oh am i starting this debate again?

I'm glad the Gt500 and the ZL1 hung in with the super exotics for a fraction of the price.

Very true, especially with the magnetic suspension.

I think this is entirely determined by the driver. Both cars have their perks and flaws. And if you have the money to buy one, you probably have money to modify to be able to accel in any area you want.

Both are incorrect. IRS vs solid rear axle. Either suspension can be worse then the other depending on setup.

Traditionally a solid rear axle is better in a straight line at putting the power down but no so much on a road course due to no rear negative camber adjustment and suspension transferring disturbance thru the axle (aka road bumps).

However... The new GT500 has an advanced solid rear axle and actually beat the ZL1's IRS at Laguna In their ZL1 vs GT500 article & this article (which all the times and such are actually from the previous article)

Not Camaro bashing.. Just offering insight. I still love my car.
