I find it odd that on the hottest day of the year I am outside splitting firewood so I can stay warm during the winter.

Most of it is with a splitter ,but some of the big stuff I have to split with an axe into smaller pieces.

I spent the day at my desk in the middle of the shop... It was around 115-120 due to the machines, cars/trucks, and the computers (around and under my desk) and the large dorm size fridge also under my desk, and no air movement either....And as my boss said my "breaks" consisted of running 2 flights of in-air conditioned stairs... I love my job.

This weather is just crazy.. It's 100+ in the Chicagoland area then it rains and hails in the same day..

We're f*cked, because the next weather systems involve frogs and locusts..

Oh and for you natives.. Welcome to "living in the south"....
