Honest to god, about 20 years ago, I saw the exact same thing happen, only it was a '68 Camaro in Schaumburg. Looked like the kid driving it just bought it, because there was a "For Sale" sign in the window and he was being followed by what looked to be his dad in a '67 Camaro right behind him. He made a left turn off a side street onto Schaumburg Rd, lost control and put it into a guard rail. Totaled the front end. This all happened right in front of me. I could have cried, or gotten out and beat that kid silly, but I figured the dad would that for me!

Reminds me of a corvette owner. Most of those guys have no clue how to drive either.

Was that too much power in the turn, or turned the wheel too much? Or both? Sheesh, either way that's embarrassing.

Happened near where I live. I make that turn everyday. Haven't lost it yet.

The kid punched it way to early into the turn and the car just went crazy out of control. The car was awesome too... Or at least it was the first minute I saw it. A minute later, I'd have given him $100.00 bucks for it. (At the time) :-)
