interesting point though most cruise nights I go to the older cars do in fact start up there cars and in fact show off their exhausts. I don't think our guys really do that it's usually the heavily modified older cars with cams... They seem do alot of that. not sure who he was referring to there in our group that does that. I don't think any of the older guys object to that at all , they do the same. The burnouts are dangerous and unnecessary, definitely agree there. And more importantly, it is important to talk to all the other car owners and show them the respect they deserve for rebuilding their car, it takes a heck of a lot more patience, labor and sometimes money to do that then just go into a showroom and say I want that. I love the old cars and always take the time to go around and look at them and compliment these guys for their workmanship. we should all be doing that if we truly love cars and want to set a good example for 5th Gen owners.

I read the posting. I own a "old classic" and a new one.
They are both "muscle cars". At one showing, I did walk back and forth between the old and new cars.( I had my old one). Unfortunatly at shows now days, there is an age limit on what cars can park at the show.
If you are really into muscle cars, it should not matter the year of car you have. Enjoy the old with the new cars, and you can meet really nice people.2019 1SS Riverside Blue

I agree with the guy mostly as well,but....what's the point of whining about it? If you don't like the crowd don't hang with them, it's not that hard to do, I regularly pull u turns when i see bill (I know he can take the teasing).
The reality is chevy is selling a 100k units a year. They never sniffed that in recent gens and with that many cars you're not going to get everyone treating the car like a muscle car.

Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.
