He said in the movie that he was on a learners permit, meaning he was at least 15 and has some experience. You do not even have to have a license on private property. I started learning how to drive when i was 13 in parking lots in my parents $60000 van. I see nothing wrong with letting someone you trust drive your car... its just a car

Now im not saying priz i would let anyone drive your car but thats because of the extra power you have and it drives a little different than stock

Oh you are all so judgmental, LOL give the guy a break. I give him kudos for the logistics of figuring out how to get an even look all the way around the rim. He obviously takes pride in his workmanship. You all knew I was going to pipe in sooner or later and say NICE JOB !! hehehehehe

As far as the 14 year old, ehh may drive better then some of the people i see on the road lately, hehe

Better listen again. He said on a learners permit shortly, meaning not on one. A gas station is hardly private property. That's a knucklehead move no matter how you dissect it. Have the kid video it and the adult drives. It's not about the car, it's about the safety of the kid and potentially others.

Some of us respect what the camaro heritage is, and blinky lights isn't it. I bet you wouldn't put that on Michelle.

Is it drum brakes then? Obviously times change. Those glow wheels look cool, but only for show purposes.

haha Not yet, the only thing holding me back is the holes he has to drill for the brackets. I got to look at that piece he is drilling through and see if its alum or steel, i think its steel and if so, wont order, down the road, rust intrusion issues with the screw holes would hold me back. Im real funny about drilling holes anywhere under the car. But you read my mind.

Couple ways to avoid those issues... A, afix the brackets with JB weld instead. B, drill the holes, paint the exposed metal, then install screws. C, drill the holes, paint the exposed metal, install the screws, and cover front and back of work area with POR-15. Either way, if there ever was any rust issue with these... it's on the dust shield for the brakes... NOT a critical structural component, and fairly easy to replace if need be... so have at it, Bill you gotta do eeet!
