    Grant has Surgery Today 600am

    Please keep us in your prayers, my son has his surgery to remove his tonsils at 0600 today.....

    Since we moved down to Mt Vernon and just since this Jan he has had Strep 3 times and with the last bought got pneumonia. Scared the crap out of us and the doctor said the tonsils must go.

    Grant has never been under and they have to put him under to operate. The good news is he gets all the Popsicles and icecream he can eat and all the drinks he can drink for the near future.....

    Very nervous Dad here......

            Sorry to hear. Hope all goes well. Hope for a very speedy recovery. I'll be jealous, he gets all the popsicles and ice cream he wants. But on a serious note, I really do hope all goes well. I'll keep y'all in my prayers.

                Surgery

                Good luck everything will go as planned don't worry. I'm not even supposed to be alive right now. I had a massive seizure at 9 months old and was hospital for over 2 months I hope he has a quick recovery and my prayers are with you.

                  Ok update Grant is in Recovery room with mom, not to happy, but all ok. Now the pain starts and the Popsicles start!

                          Grant is on Popsicle number 3 and not thrown up feeling better but in bigtime pain! Sucks seeing him this way, but he is doing better.

                            What can they/do they give the little guy for that pain?... I bet seeing him like that sucks, but it went well... Positive thoughts!
