    So after the short test drive yesterday, I asked my wife if there was ANYTHING she liked about the Camaro... she said "I like that you like it"

        Try a two tone paint scheme that the both of you can live with. Tell her its her car, but you'll drive it for her. Tell her you'll take out the trash, do the laundry, make dinners, and watch whatever she wants on tv (dancing with the stars, and other crap tv shows). JUST GET THE CAMARO!

          ... I think it worked, fellas! I'll be contacting Camaro Scotty tomorrow to claim my allocation... though It looks like the car won't be built till the first few days of August

          The one small caveat is that I did promise my wife that I would still look for a G8 GT that meets my requirements while my order is in.

          other than that, I'll be ordering a 2LT/Auto in Summit White with black interior, RS package and polished wheels...


          on an unrelated note,
          has anybody noticed that we still have waaay to many smileys? .... I mean-- Preview? review: LOL

              LOL... that's what my wife said.

              Really, I wouldn't mind a G8, but a bit afraid of the MPG, and some of the known issues that it's had in it's short life. Otherwise, it would be my chance at a V8. That being said, I hope one doesn't show up.


              On edit... come on, guys... it's SUMMER and there is still a Santa smiley? hahaha

                congrats G8 are pretty sweet cars but i would take a camaro any day

                    WANT the coupe. Would settle for the sedan if it would make wife happy.

                    It's not likely that I'll find exactly the G8 locally that I would have to have to think about not getting the Camaro, so I think I'm safe

                        ...i mean it's not a total loose if I end up with a G8... after all, it would be a V8 :P (can't afford camaro SS) just not what I had hoped
