Can you get vanity plates from the currency exchange or do you have to go to the DMV?

Also I like the america remembers and the route 66 plates the best.
I was thinking about this.....


But someone at the office read it as "america remembers steveo"

steveo is too long for the route 66 plates.

I know you don't get the plate right when you order it at the DMV but do you get a temp plate? I need to put plates on my saturn so I thought it was a good time to get vanity plates for the camaro and transfer the camaro plates to the saturn.

If what I want to do with the plate swap wont work I will probably hold off on the vanity plates.

Yup ordered mine online as well. For me I just used my original plates up until I got my new ones. No temporary plate was sent.

If you go to the DMV you may get a temp plate first. They made me put on temp plated when I replaced my worn out front plate. When I ordered online I had no temp plates. I'd call first, before hitting the DMV. Took about 5 weeks to get my new vanity plates.

However if the DMV will give u DTF & you'll put it on the car-ill pay for it

just talk to the currency exchange. They can do vanity plates. Going to "register" them to the saturn until they come in and then swap the plates once I have them.

Now which one to get!?
