You should think about straight line performance, speed Inc, of flp. A lot of members have gone to these shops for tunes. Mm seems to be more of a mopar shop.

Kwick, where are you having your test-n-tune done, at Modern Muscle? They are charging $80 for a dyno run and it doesn't say how many runs that includes. The club is doing one at FLP in Naperville for less $ and includes two runs.

As Priz said too, there are other shops in the area more familiar with the L99/LS3. I had mine done at Straightline in New Lenox. You will hear many opinions on tuners, but I have no complaints with mine. I chose them mainly because they do the tunes for the dealership where I bought my car and proximity to my house.

Maybe I'll see you at the open house. Going there with a friend at work.

        DUDE!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!

Join us at the Dyno day the week before and talk to some of us that have tunes about which shops you should and should NOT visit in the area regarding tunes.

        T.
The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

Modern Muscle is a mopar shop. I am with everyone else on here... Do yourself a favor and do your research on the shop you pick for your tune... The wrong tune can SERIOUS mess up your car and you will be on your own if they won't stand behind it.

Before you have anyone tinker with the ECM program talk to a few of the tuners in the area & talk to the members here who have their car tuned already.

Dan (the tuner at FLP) will be the one doing to pulls at our club event... I highly recommend you come to the event next weekend and talk to him.

P.S. I can tell you countless horror stories of bad tunes and fried ECMs.

Your work is not done yet, there are many to be saved and reminded its a muscle car, not a civic.

You should join us next Saturday at the FLP Dyno day! It will give you the chance to see what mods & tunes translate to what HP & talk to a tuner himself!
