I was invited to Las Vegas to test some new tires that are coming out for Bridgestone and Firestone. We drove some BMW 528 cars The tires were put up against michelins and absolutly destroyed the michelins in all tests.
But by far the highlight for me was when Bridgestone had us test out some Potenza Re11 tires on a few exotic cars. I was driving a 245 thousand dollar (of course) Blue lamborghini Gallardo LP550 on a 1.4 mile road course. I was able to ride with Richie Hern the Indy car driver for 2 laps while he showed me the line and then I was able to drive 5 laps with him in passenger seat coaching me. What an experience!!!!!! There is a place called Exotics Racing that actually sells these kinds of opportunties there. They have Ferrari,lamborghini,Audi,Porsche and a few more. Anyone ever in Vegas you have to go check this out, insanely fun. They also give you a memory stick with a camara video of you and a camara view of out the front windshield watching your driving.
