  • My yearly dilemma has arrived

Should I put my summer tires now or do you guys think we will get more snow? I am looking at the 10 day forecast and looks like 50-60's

    What do you guys think?

If you do, it will surely snow.

I am in the same boat. I was shooting for April 1st, but if the weather stays at 40 or above like it has been, I might move the swap up a week.

Does any body remember when was the last measurable snow fall last year?

I hate to be riding on my snow tires on 50-60 deg weather since snow tires wear faster at those temps, but I also would hate to to change my wheels and tires only to have more snow and be slipping and sliding all over the place

Jose, WeatherUnderground says that there was snow as late as March 24th in Joliet, but not how much. April had no snow.

I took mine out 2/29 and to Libertyville Chevy for a once over. Except for yesterday, it's been back inthe garage because of the new snow and salt. Looks like we should be in the clear now though. If it does snow it should melt right away.

Even if it does not snow, there is a lot of salt on the roads from last Friday.
