    My Father update

    I wanted to let everyone know or who may not know my fathers battle with cancer is looking good! His last PET scan has come out clean and cancer free! We have one more scan next month to confirm this but this is the best Christmas I could ever get. In the next few months after he is off the blood thinners he will be scheduled for the last surgery # 5 in a year and a half battle to save his life. He is up to 157lbs now his normal weight!!! At one point when he was loosing the battle he was 109 lbs.
    I want to thank the Club for the support, your prayers, and even everyone that helped Ginger and I move! I will always be involved somehow or way as I really do love the people and friendships developed here!

        The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
        Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
        I can't wait for my Track next fix.

                Happy to hear! A clear PET is an awesome thing! I, all too well, know what watching a parent battle cancer and bring (my mom had breast, lung, liver, & spinal cancer) if you need an ear you have my number! Congrats on the clear PET! and merry Christmas!

                            Steve, that is indeed great news! Not quite the same, but my Father In-Law is recuperating from bypass surgery a few weeks back, thankfully he's doing very well. Hope you have a blessed Christmas, and happy new year!! hope to see you at the after-holiday party?
