I dont plan on it. I have another car that I will use for work purposes. If that car goes down however I will have to use the camaro and then yes I can see lots of traffic in a day.

Yeah i know what you mean with the tap shift. I guess I should drive an auto to see how well it works. How long is the lag from when you tell it to shift and it actually shifts?

I drive my camaro hard . i think that i turn traction control and stability control off everytime i drive cause you just never know when that urge to snag second gear and twist the back end will occurr. LOL
I keep hearing a lot of people had issues with the clutch at first. Why is the Camaro trans so different?

It's fairly quick as far as I can tell...don't really have anything to compare it to. But I believe with a tune its possible to make it better. Idk about that I won't have a tune till I get the money for the headers lol

Just keep practicing on that Accord. It will help you get used to the friction point when starting out and handling hills etc. That's the only hard part about a manual transmission because once you're moving, shifting is pretty forgiving, unless you majorly skip gears and don't give it enough gas...

My previous vehicle was a 150 HP pickup truck with manual transmission. It prepared me for everything I needed to know about driving the Camaro's manual transmission.

If you buy the manual, get a skip shift eliminator. That function frustrated me the most when I was just trying to take off easy and all the sudden I'm fighting to get it in second, only to realize that stupid skip shift was on. Nothing like looking like an idiot in the middle of an intersection who doesn't know how to shift his car.

You can get it tuned out, but in the mean time.

I drive mine like a stolen rental car most of the time so i don't have to deal with that stupid skip shift. Very annoying i agree !
