I withhold all comments until I see Dyno charts of both cars. Peak power means nothing, let me see the curves!

Makes you wonder if GM will counter with a Z28 version of the ZL1 to match HP numbers. Where does it all end.....

Seems like the 13' GT500 will have to be over $60K with those HP numbers. Holy smoke...makes my SS seem like an even better deal.

they are missing pricing for the added options of 4 different wheels, and there isnt a gas guzzler tax mentioned.. i dont think we have seen the full pricing just yet..... but either way i was right around the ball park with what i thought

They will pick up extra weight I am pretty sure.

4 different wheels? Only the one style was called a ZL1 wheel? The other came from the SST, technically.

The base pricing should be set, it came from GM. The options, who knows. Gas guzzler tax is known, though

Too much for a Camaro. I think GM missed the mark here. they failed to look at the demographics of their market share with that price . I'm not spending 55k to have a faster car. What's the purpose, can't use all that power anyway . If you do, better hire a driver, hehe.

Most people that can spend 55 plus on a car can just as easily spend 70 or 80. And then you have a whole bunch of choices.
                  That's my two cents

They were gunning for GT500 (which should now be the GT650 LOL). Similar price points?

Looks like a good BASE price to me. Wonder what the out the door prices will look like.

purely depends on what dealers can mark up and get away with

They'll have them sold, of that i'm sure. and no, surely not everybody that can spend 55+/- can spend 70+ shoot look at how many vettes they sell. slightly different market, but only the base vette will cost less than this ZL1

I hope Chevy can up the ZL1 numbers for 2014. Because to be honest, Ford is kicking our butts in performance numbers. Good thing their car is uglier haha!
