The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

      +1

I seen some dealers trying to sell base 1ss camaro's for more then others are trying to get for a fully loaded 2ss 45th anniversary. Doesn't make sense.

55000 for that car is good deal in my opinion.

Don't forget, the ZL1 WILL be subject to gas guzzler tax of 1300/2600 for stick/auto, like the V

This information came out of Detroit from GM according to all three sources I posted.

I updated the first post with two more links. Since they were informational links I thought that was OK. If not a Mod can adjust accordingly and I am sorry.

Not bad at all. Low blow by Ford releasing the specs of the '13 GT500 . Im a die hard GM fan but that GT500 is impressive to say the least with 70 more horses and weighing 300 lbs less. If money was no option I'd still get the ZL1 though

I bet Ford has been waiting to release those numbers. We also have to see if its true. For some reason I don't see the Ford being too much quicker then the Camaro.

They will pick up extra weight I am pretty sure.

Tires are pretty much the reason for traction issues on the GT500s..

If I had to choose between too much weight or too little traction, I'd choose traction as it's much easier to resolve.

There will be added weight for GT500 oil, trans, and diff coolers that are an option, not to mention of some other parts of the 'track pack'
