How much can you negotiate?

The automatic is a $2000 option... why does it seem that automatics are selling for less then similar equipped manuals?

If I was out of work for two years, the LAST thing I would be thinking about is buying a brand new car, and the first thing would be to find a job...

As another said, if the price is not where I want it or believe it should be, I would just leave and find other places that are negotiable...

I have talked to CamaroScotty about a month ago now.

One thing im concerned about is getting what I want for the G8 if i cant private sell it. I would hate to drive 130 miles up there to not be able to work a deal then drive all the way back.

Im also contemplating the idea of a co signer. I have sub par credit from being unemployed 2 years ago, which it is going up but im in the double digits for interest on my G8. An uncle of mine is willing to co sign but I want to try it alone before since my credit is higher then it was when i bought the G8. I want 7% or less.

Maybe I will talk to CamaroScotty again.

I was out of work 2 years ago. December 1st I will be with the company for 2 years.

I would not be looking for a new car if I was unemployed. My job is very satisfying for me and is very secure. My boss tells me often how nice it is finally having an IT person to take the burden off of him. With the company only expanding and leaning on me for help I feel very secure.
