Every dyno is different and will give different numbers each time. Intake and exhaust won't give huge differences on the six. 248 is good. I'd probably have similar numbers too. Tony, your Vararam might not allow you to dyno as high due to lack of air flow.

Now that I have a real keyboard...
My speed limiter shut it down at 118 mph (just past 5500 rpm) as I am a non-RS car. The HP peak is past that, around 6500 rpm.
My max torque was 233 around 4800 rpm.
I think I'm happy with the gains from the Vararam. At the track, I reduced my 60' a bit, my ET came down, and I gained trap speed. Waiting on the next track outing to get some more data points.

I know this may be apples to oranges, but my run on the SS M6 was a disappointing 366HP/372TQ. I have Borla cat-back and CAI Inc intake. I probably only netted about 4 HP with a stock tune vs. a complete stock car.
So why am I disappointed? Because I believed the BS from CAI and others about how I would see up to 15HP gains w/o a tune. I have a recent thread on another forum where Bill@CAI "guarantees" that I'll a get 15 HP gain. I didn't really expect 15, but maybe 8?
I saw the white SS owned by Chris with HF cats and I think he said Rotofab intake pull 20 HP over mine. A far better choice in mods than the route I went for the cost. The only real benefit that the cai gives me is a crisper response to the throttle, so I can't be too bummed.
So I wouldn't be surprised that your results are pretty accurate.sigpic

I have to say I am happy with my gains from my rotofab, dynatech headers, HF cats and axle back. Really would like to flip my torque and HP numbers on that dyno thoRacing is my life, everything else is just minor details.
