Well after seeing what yours and Chris' car did, I'm going with headers and cats. I'm going with your recommendation on Finish Line and calling Monday to find out what it will cost. Hopefully I can get it done before the weather changes and my car goes into hibernation.

Hmm, can't Speed Inc. just quickly tune-out the limiter in the computer? Or do ya want to kept that for some reason, like say, warranty?

Heh! That is a thought, but, Speed does not have a V6 tuner.

Something as basic as that, they should be able to do...

          I can't believe HP Tuners STILL doesn't support the 5th Gen V6:

Well, now that the LFX has replaced the LLT, there are limited sales possibilities for them. I don't know if any companies will want to develop something for just a two-year run of cars.

if they're already working on it, they'll likely not just quit and give up

Its funny how some of these numbers come out. I just looked up K&N's numbers that they put out with their cold air kit and it makes me scratch my head a little. They tested a 2010 V6 and the numbers came out to 226.89hp and 193.21ft-lbs. Now I take everything after market parts manufacturers with a grain of salt. They are saying the same car with CAI that both gman1970 and I have improves those numbers to 241.85hp and 205.95ft-lbs. In addition to the CAI I also have a Gibson Catback. I had my car on the dyno the other day and my numbers were very similar to gman1970's. 248hp and 228ft-lbs. So the question I have is are these stock numbers wrong or are we getting almost no power improvements with these mods?

Ask Lingenfelter how their LLT supercharger is going, they have been working on that since mid 2009.

There's an unknown factor - what dyno the company used. Add to this that you can't 'stack' gains from multiple mods. But the numbers you post show about 18hp/30 tq.... That's quite the gains from a CAI and axleback

This is why pre and post-mod dyno pulls/track runs are a good idea. You can see exactly what is going on.

At this point I think stickers would help just as much, at a much lower cost.
