FYI - Be sure to get a cover that breathes if you're leaving the cover on for an extended amount of time. Condensation will build up from weather changes and a cover that doesn't breathe will trap that moisture in! Most water-proof ones will trap this moisture in.
Breathable water-resistant or the lined ones as Ashley was talking about are your best bet.
