maybe i'm reading it wrong, but it reads to me that if passed, only NEW vehicle registrations will be issued one plate, and only after they design a new plate (not sure if this 1 plate change would force a new plate design at the same time, but it doesnt indicate that. so it doesnt read to me like we can all just go take the front plates off our cars... who knows... it sure took them long enough to get the tint law signed, so this could take a looong time
Freaking Azzz'z Thanks to our mighty meter maids..... I was ticketed today for guess what while parked downtown?????
No front plate. I have my car downtown every week and have never had a issue, WTF the Gov needs to sign this bill ASAP.
50.00 still worth not drilling my bumper

I agree, but for the mean time, you should use zip-ties to hold the license plate frame on, and attach the license plate to that... I saw it somewhere on C5 right after people started picking up their Camaro's and can't ever find it again, but they said it worked very well....
I actually got the hide-away plate holder that mounts underneath the bumper. I only cost me about 60 bucks shipped. And the great thing is that I can flip it down whenever I want (like our meets this spring!) I'd definitely suggest that to you guys
I have a motorized bracket, one like this from Swiftmotorsport.com Mine is mounted a little further back... Here is a video of one... (Not Mine) but you get the idea.
I don't like the way those stick out... Both froward and underneath the car.... That's why, if this law doesn't get passed, which it looks like it will, but if it doesn't I will do that zip type thing. That way you can cut them off for shows/meets, and no-one will know the difference.
