Hey all, I haven't been on a cruise yet, but out of curiosity what kind of radios do ya'll recommend for communication during cruises. (Just standard 2 way with like 22 channels?? or something different.)

Yeah, you want the GPRS/FRS combo units

I was looking around a truck stop the other day...don't ask. But I did see some smaller 2-way type radios. I will try and get online and see if I can find them. You could also look at angie's list categories for installers. You may be able to sample the units and see which one you like the best. Audio equipment like this is hard to judge without holding it and seeing it.
