No, you are not alone. I will have nothing to listen to on the radio now. I just posted on facebook, Sherman and Tingle Show. I can not believe a company would buy a profitable radio station and just get rid of it. I listen to Sherman and Tingle every morning and Q101 the rest of the day. There is no other station like it in Chicago, I am not sure what I will listen to after Thursday.

No they are done Friday, changing over to talk radio.

I hit them once in a while, but, I usually listen to XRT. I refuse to pay for XM... LOL

Bad investment, these stations are on a downward spiral. The total for all three was less than the previous owner paid for the loop alone because they are money pits, much like the failing newspapers. Ipods and satellite radio are killing the radio stations. I couldn't even tell you the last time I listened to a local FM radio station. I listen to am 1000 and occasionally 670, but switch to the ipod for music.

Lets but a station and start a car talk station, maybe that would have some legs. C5G radio.

You don't think there was a profit with this station. There must have been for someone to buy it. Or they just have hopes of turning it around.

wrxq 100.7 isn't too bad . But you folks up north may not be able to receive it.It broadcasts out of Joliet and Coal City .
