It's only a 20 minute drive from AH to the theater. I mentioned 6PM at Portillos because it takes about 1/2 hour to get to AH from the Grays Lake area. Plus I need time just to get down from Dairyland.

The theater's parking lot looks pretty huge. I would think the event team would be securing an area for us especially since the cars are supposed to be guarded.

well maybe you could we meet us at the walmart on 83 sooner than 5:30, as we may need directions on how to get to the portillos your talking about?i'll wait to hear from twinbees hopefully tonight and let ya know....i thought you were talking about portillos in vernon hills and thats why i was thinking maybe it wouldn't work out...let ya know in the next day or 2

Gman1970 -- Another option might be we meet up with you and Twinbb near 120 & 83 and drive down to the Portillos in Arlington Hgts on Dundee Rd. together.

Originally I thought Vernon Hills but doing Arlington Hgt lets us all cruise down together with a northern meet point, and maybe some AH area locals might join as well at Portillos.

We can meet in Grays Lake, at the Speedway at the intersection of 83 and Ivanhoe Rd (which is just south of 120) at about 5:00pm. We are planning on leaving Kenosha at about 4:15 so depending on traffic we should get there between 4:50 and 5:00. From there it's a half hour or so to Portillo's in Arlington Heights, getting us there around 5:30. From Portillo's it's about 30 minutes to the theater. That gives us plenty of time to deal with any rush hour traffic issues, eat and still get to the theater before 7:00pm.

Let us know if you want to meet up in Grays Lake at 5:00, otherwise we'll probably take a different route but still end up at Portillo's in AH.
