    I'm seriously about to go thermonuclear...

    It's micromanager central here


    Imagine being a math teacher at a school district and the super coming by every couple days just to make sure you're doing addition correctly.

    I'd almost accept a career change at this point -- that's how much IT joy they've just sucked out of me here.. I live in Dilbert land..

      are you looking at like management/supervisory type stuff or basic Tech Support/Help Desk kinda stuff?

        No interest in managing, I'm a tech guy, not a people person -- but, I'm well above general tech support. I have experience all over the place..

            I write MPs for that system as well as being responsible for the design here and at a previous place..

            I'm right there with you.. I look through some of the code in this thing and I think "who the hell wrote this mess"

            I had to write about 2000 lines of code just to explain to the damn thing how to log scrape and look for certain patterns, how to return the data correctly and then the object model for the application suite..
