Another one rear-ended

Sitting at a light not even 1 mile from home.. right as I was going to move over a lane, got slammed in the rear. Had no license on her. Had no insurance on her. Had been cited 4 days ago in a different accident for the same. Got the official Police report though.. so, that's good. No Human was critically hurt.. I have a nice 4-5 inch long red line down my neck from the seat belt. Her air bag deployed.

Oh yay.. Get to call up the Insurance tomorrow and go have my car fixed.... Right before our July 5th vacation trip too...

What is it with people rear ending these things?

Good luck. Hope it gets fixed before your trip. The seatbelt mark will be there awhile. When I got in the accident in our '92 Camaro, I had a huge mark from my seatbelt. I still have problems with the left side of my neck and its been almost 3 years.

I'll be calling up the INS shortly to see what the deal is..

My neck feels fine thus far -- but, I'm always having some sort of bone and joint pain, so I'll have to give it a day or two more -- but, I wasn't hit hard enough for that..

The car took most of the impact force and the little bit left over just caused a friction burn on the neck.

That blows. I am extra thankful that the guy that hit me was quiet, apologetic, and insured. You could almost take my pictures and paint it orange, and would look identical to yours.

Pete. better order some bumpers in bulk to save some $$
