  • hazy or film like residue

hey does anybody else have this problem. My headlights seem to no matter what i try to clean them ,theres like a film like or haze on the outside that seems to never to go away?I think back in the 90's my headlights had the same thing going on but just curious if these are possibly bad?

Are you using some sort of detail product on them that could be responding to heat? Best bet is take a rag with warm water and wipe em off. I've not seen any sort of film on mine.

This is what it is. Some windex or glass cleaners leave a horrible film of the lens from the heat. This is why i just use warm water to clean them. Its just like if you have a plasma or LED TV. That horrible film left afterwards by the heat and cleaner.
