Hey all,
I know I haven't been on here all too much lately, been busy with school. Speaking of school, I am looking to do an internship next semester. I will have 2 classes left, and since they will be on the same 2 days right after one another, I have determined it to be cheaper to stay back home in Chicago, and travel down to Bloomington-Normal once a week for 2 nights than to rent an apartment for 6 months when I will only be spending 3 and a half or so living there. Knowing that a few of you own businesses, or are managers, I was wondering if any of you are willing to offer me a management type internship. I am an entrepreneurship major, so I have studied marketing, accounting (not my best area), managing, leading, etc. The internship doesn't have to be something formal like most business give. The only requirements my major requires is that it be in some sort of management role. I can help with marketing, dealing with facebook, twitter, forum's, etc. I can lead any projects you may be working on, set up events, etc. I have extensive communication skills, think outside the box, work well in groups, goal oriented, results driven and an exceptional problem solver.
If anyone is willing to give me this opportunity, knows someone who is, or knows of a formal opportunity please let me know. I can get a resume to you as soon as requested.
Thank You,
Dave_O
