    For those with recent phones, I just found this...

    gPC (Performance Calculator based on g-forces) is a unique application able to transform any HTC Touch Diamond/Pro, HTC Touch Diamond2/Pro2, HTC Touch HD/HD2(LEO) or Samsung OMNIA (i900) device, into a powerful vehicle performance calculator, using the onboard accelerometer in these devices.

        I have used the dynolicious app on my ipod touch and they are pretty acurate I tested it on my lightning and it came a few HP's and a few tent's off from my track times and Dyno numbers
