I'm not going to tell any of you how to run a forum.....but I will offer up that politics on a forum like this is a ticking time bomb.

Joking about cars & baseball is one thing....politics, and where it can lead is quite another.

Well, it's time to complain -- IL pensions are way out of whack. I dunno, I kind like Texas -- when I was in the Ft. Worth area I really liked it...

That's fine and dandy, just afraid that doing that complaining here is just going to open a big can of worms.

I agree. Whether we agree about the sate of the government or not, there are some things just best left unsaid on a forum, even in a family such as ours.

Judge Napolitano just pointed out that a company like Exxon makes about $.072/gallon profit, and IL average tax is $.495/gallon -- why can't that huge amount be reduced?

Gas went up $.26 since last Sunday near me -- now we see that "quantitative easing" (inflation) actually 'eases' nothing!

Now there is a DOT proposal to track drivers and charge for every mile driven:
