      HAHA!

My Cubs plates say the same thing as my Blackhawks plates. As far as I know, they are the only two teams available so far. And the only thing I have to say, is that pitchers hit on real baseball teams.

They were pretty baren last August/September.

Spring attendance is way down for them, and there are loads of tickets left for ALL their games this season.

As long as you're happy with an attendance trophy....I guess it's all good. I prefer World Series titles.

Your team could win the trophy every year and still be Chicago's second team. it'll be fun watching big country hit there though. That is when he actually makes contact instead of whiffing. What's the over/under on Quinton's games played this season? And how about those gas prices? Fans are going to need free CTA passes to those section 8 luxury boxes on the south side!

Oooooo cubs fans talking shit???? I love it.

                1) They could turn the seats around in Wrigley and no one would notice.
                2) Want to drop attendance, hijack the Old Style truck before it makes it to the stadium.
                3) Also just a question, you mentioned Dunn. How's Soriano working out for you?

Mike, haven't you learned anything? Baseball is a popularity contest on the northside.

Dunn is going to jack 40 or more this year. I like him, but he strikes out a lot. Haha, I could never cheer for the Black Sox, because my parents are from Detroit. They don't play real baseball either. All the managers do in the American league is fill out lineup cards! LOL, let's get this back to the topic.

Back in the day, I'd buy into the " real baseball " arguement.

For the last several decades, the pitcher's spot in the NL line up has been an automatic out. Please define for me how this is real baseball?

And this topic is way more exciting than crying/ranting/politics over gas prices that are beyond our control!

AL pitchers can throw a bean ball with no consequences. They should have to stand in the batters box. Two, there are pitchers who can hit well for the position. Some learn to bunt well. Most don't care.

Yea, when government workers like Judy Barr Topinka receives the second-highest pension for an Illinois state legislator. She currently receives a yearly pension of $145,727; $12,144 a month! She already has pocketed $402,229 in pension payments since her last day in the General Assembly, in 1995.

"Barry Tobias, a retired Appellate Court Judge tops the list with an annual pension of $176,043, which he supplements with another $15,000 from his General Assembly pension, while retired Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Moses Harrison, II pulls in $171,561. The average of the top 100 judicial annual pensions is a huge $153,000."

                          See:

                          and:

Now you know why Illinois is losing businesses and people are moving out... and that is just the TIP of the iceberg... Government pension are bankrupting this state, practically NOBODY in the private sector gets anything close to this!

I think it's time move! Vote with your feet...

So are you moving? If not, then why bother complaining about it, let alone here?

Well, it's time to complain -- IL pensions are way out of whack. I dunno, I kind like Texas -- when I was in the Ft. Worth area I really liked it...
